Throughout my high school experience I worked towards the arts, working on my own films and studying theatre. As I left high school and went to university I moved from the US to the UK to study filmmaking with a focus on sound design and directing at the Northern Film School in Leeds. I spent my three years there working on as many projects as possible, directing five short films in the time, as well as sound designing ten short films, writing four shorts produced at the university, focus pulling for three short films, being a first assistant director, sound recordist, producer, story advisor, and more on other projects.

Filmmaking is an art form, and it was long before it was an industry. As such I believe that every film needs to be treated as a work of art, making every moment count, both auditorily and visually. I believe that although the film ends with the audience, it begins with the artists making it, and it should mean as much if not more to them than it will to the audience.

To make every beat impactful I have spent years studying storytelling techniques. To make every frame perfect I have pulled focus on as many projects as I can to make sure I can get it right. To make the sound immaculate I have learned Pro Tools in and out, and mastered surround sound in 5.1, 7.1, and Dolby Atmos so that the audience feels properly immersed in the film.
